Thanks Silver Strand friends: Please bring a new, unwrapped, non-violent toy to the Venice Neighorhood Council meeting on Tuesday, Nov. 27, Westminster School @ 7 pm. OR, drop off at The Cow’s End on Washington just W. of Pacific. Whichever works for you. The toys collected by the VNC go to Venice kids only. The LAPD is doing a wonderful toy drive for all the kids in the Pacific Division, so Venice kids only get them if they have a ride to the station on Culver Blvd. So, to insure our kids have a great holiday, the Dec. 8 event at Oakwood Rec. Center features Santa, snow, toys and free books supplied by the Venice Library. Please let me know if you want to help with the book giveaway or toy giveaway and if you know any good Santa Candidates.

    Thank you!
