Happy Holidays to One and All.

We are a diverse nation, something which makes the United States very unique. Our citizens celebrate the darkest month of the year in many ways.  The Muslims have Ashura, the Buddhists have Bodhi Day. The Jews have Hanukkah, the African-Americans have  Kwanzaa. Christians have, guess what, Christmas. The customs of the latter, because St. Nicholas, aka Santa Claus, Christmas trees and outdoor holiday decorations are so appealing, have been appropriated by people of many different faiths and  also by those who have no faith whatsoever. Especially if they have children.  Whichever  holiday you celebrate, when you sit down with family and friends, send up a wish for peace on earth and goodwill towards all. Without those two things, as citizens of America and the world, we  have nothing.
