Despite competition from the World Cup’s final competition, 40 people attended, including children, grandchildren, friends and residents of other Malls, among them, Cindy Carlin, Eileen Nugent, Kris Ellenberg and her two daughters, Richard Lysle, a friend of Mark Walker’s from Voyage Mall, Harrison Starr’s cousins, Terry and John Scott and several others. They contributed very good food, games for kids and music. Highlights in the food department were Jennifer Manoogian’s home-made lasagna and the Kronsbergs’ roast chicken. Jackie Rappaport provided chicken MacNuggets and confessed to eating too many of them before, and on the way to, the party. Marilyn and Simeon Spiegel brought pizzas which were devoured. New Mast Mall homeowner, Erica Murray, brought very delicious desserts. Mark Walker contributed a pinata which proved to be a real challenge for the kids. Jennifer and Dick Manoogian brought a Lakers bean bag toss, also popular with the kids. At the end of the party, Don Kronsberg and his son Damon were caught trying their hand at it too. Cindy Carlin brought a pitcher of her extraordinary Margaritas and Suzi Greenberg provided superb Mimosas. It was a perfect sunny day and the atmosphere was congenial and intimate with many staying throughout the event and after chatting away with each other.
